Whenever you ask questions on the forum, make sure you're giving as much context as possible. Here's a structure that's helped us in the past:
Goal
Split goals if applicable
Context
Company website URL
Video (Optional)
What have you tried until now? How has that performed?
What are the top challenges for you to hit your goal
Constraints (If any)
Budget?
Team size?
Compliance/Regulations
Let me guide you on how to use the above structure:
1. Goal
Example: Create an acquisition strategy to acquire 1 million weekly active users from top 10 cities in India in the first 180 days of launch.
Observe that I have given the exact metric to chase combined with a time window along with some other specifics.
If your goals are too large, always split them into smaller goals. For example:
a. Split goals:
Step 1: Acquire first 1000 customers
Step 2: Scale to 10k Weekly active customers
Step 3: Launch new cities and repeat step 1
Step 4: Get from 10k to 1 million Weekly active users.
Each of these goals can become a problem statement in itself btw
2. Context
This is about a company called Gojek who is trying to launch in India.
a. Website/App link
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.gojek.app&hl=en_IN&gl=US
b. Video on what the company does (Optional)
c. What all have we tried? How has that performed?
We have tried X/Y/Z. Y failed due to 123 reasons, X gave us a 10% uplift because of ABC reasons.
d. What are the top challenges for you to hit your goal
Top challenges are entering an already crowded space where you have Dunzo, Swiggy and the likes.
3. Constraints (If any)
Constraints can be anything, in this example it would be budget of 1 million dollars, team size of 12 and no compliance issues. Your constraints need to reflect your Goal.
